I have learned that SMALL changes in belief amount to HUGE results in action.
Believing Lies = Bondage to SIN.
Believing the Truth = perfect Freedom from sin.
If what you believe right now is true, you would manifest freedom from sin RIGHT NOW, If what you believe is mostly true but infiltrated with a few lies, you will FAIL to break free from sin.
I have seen the power of this principle demonstrated over and over again over the last 7 years.
Whenever I tell people about agreeing ONLY with the Truth of the Finished Works of the Cross I find it extremely helpful to give them examples of what I am talking about, so that they can start to see that we are not striving to be holy and we are not following a bunch of rules. Neither are we re-difining sin until you can pretend it doesn’t exist! NO!
We are simply making covenants ONLY with Heaven so that we can FREE our will to obey God in moment by moment breath by breath intimacy with his Spirit. Because that is Heaven now. And when you are experiencing heaven, it is very hard not to love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. Yes it is EASY to Obey when you are in the very presence of the King.
So I have done all of these things myself. I went from VERY bound by sin to almost instantly FREE and I have been taking notes this whole time to show you that the Holy Spirit is in the details!
These small seemingly inconsequential agreements are actually very WEIGHTY matters of covenant and by your thoughts and words you bind yourself to certain realities, either heaven or hell.
So here is what I mean:
About a year after I was set free from sin, I visited a friends profile and read many different accounts of him casting demons out of Christians.
He was saying he routinely casts demons out of some really devoted Christians and I was kinda captivated by all these stories. My stance until this point was that demons do not have access to me. But when I was reading those posts about Christians manifesting demons I changed what I believed [agreed with] without realizing it. Instead of agreeing that demons do NOT have access to me, after I read his stories [that I knew were real experiences] I began thinking “well I guess demons DO have access to me as a born again Christian”
Guess what? Within fifteen minutes my kids did one little thing and I blew up like Hiroshima and manifested a huge demon. I went from perfect peace in the presence of God to completely defeated by irritations almost instantly. It was VERY strange for me since being set free, so I stopped everything and waited for some understanding.
That is when it hit me that I had agreed with a lie. I had carelessly changed my agreement after I read those stories. Can a Christian manifest demons? I have definitely seen that happen! Do I AGREE that demons have access to me?! NO I DON’T because that is NOT The TRUTH of what Jesus purchased for us with his own Blood on the cross! I AGREE ONLY WITH THE TRUTH OF PERFECT VICTORY all the time!! As soon as I changed my agreement back I was right back to enjoying the peace of heaven and was impervious to those irritations.
A few weeks after that a good Christian friend of mine came over and was talking to me about how he had been attacked in his dreams lately. He said: “you know how the devil will come and attack you when you are asleep and vulnerable” and I just sort agreed in passing: “uh yeah”
Again, I didn’t consciously change my beliefs, I just agreed [cause in the past that happened to me pretty regularly, but not at all since I had been set free from sin.] Well that night I had HORRIFIC dreams, like over the top horrible.
When I woke up I knew I had agreed with another lie: and after thinking about it I realized I had agreed that the “the devil attacks me when I am asleep and vulnerable” So I immediately changed that agreement.. I said out loud “I DO NOT AGREE AT ALL that the devil attacks me when I am asleep or ANY OTHER TIME! And Guess what? I did not have any more bad dreams after that!
You have to ask yourself this question: is this thing true through the Cross?
There is a BIG difference between knowing something has happened, or could happen [a fact] and AGREEING with it. I know that sometimes things happen that are contrary to the will of God but there is a BIG difference between knowing the facts of a matter and AGREEING with something that is contrary to the will of God. Do you see what I am saying? Because when you AGREE with something contrary to His will, it actually opens the door to it and can be instrumental in manifesting it! That is just how powerful God made each of us.
Well, my “Good Christian friend” who had been attacked with bad dreams came back over to my house. (I am starting to be on my guard a little with this guy. And Just so you know, he is not your average Christian to say the least. He has been a Christian longer than I have been alive. He has lived on miracles his whole life. He has even raised at least one person from the dead and generally seen TONS of crazy stuff.)
So I liked hanging out and talking about Jesus. But he started telling me a story from his younger days. He said one time a very cute girl invited him over to her house, but when he got over there he was met by several other guys.
He heard the Lord say “get out now; you are a not going to walk away from this one”. So he asked where the bathroom was, walked right out the back door and ran off. And his conclusion was this: “It is best to obey the Lord” And I agreed with him obviously, but within five minutes of that story, I went from being really Super HIGH on the peace and joy of heaven to REALLY ANXIOUS. Like really super anxious and FEARFUL for no reason and I could not shake it for the next few hours. It was so very dramatic.
I KNEW I had somehow made a covenant with Hell during our conversation. I thought about what happened and realized I had agreed with another lie. After that story I let this thought creep into my head: “Well I guess sometimes you just have to tuck tail and run, if the Lord tells you to”
But hold on now. My “friend” did not ask Jesus if he should go over to this girls house to begin with, probably did not have the best intentions in doing so and by his own admission was not walking in freedom from sin. He got himself into a mess and God told him what to do UNDER THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES. So when he said “its best to obey the Lord” there was plenty of defeat wrapped up in that.
THE TRUTH IS HEAVEN DOES NOT RETREAT.
The TRUTH is you cannot expect total victory all the time when you are bound by sin because Victory all the time is the consequence of receiving the Lordship of Jesus over every area of your life and refusing to agree with anything less than what Jesus actually purchased for us = HEAVEN RIGHT NOW.
This can be extra “hard” for those who have the most experience with the Lord because ALL of their experiences are under the circumstances of being bound by sin and that makes the results of their life experience with Jesus different than TOTAL VICTORY ALL THE TIME.
If you try to enforce the victory of the Cross over a situation but you yourself are bound by sin it can result in BIG FAILURES. And those failures then try to assert themselves as TRUTH and if you agree with ANY part of them (either from your own life or the lives of others) it leads to total confusion about WHAT THE TRUTH ACTUALLY IS.
This is why it is so important to agree with what the Bible says 1 John. If you are bound by sin, YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW THE LORD, NEITHER HAVE YOU SEEN HIM. You see how that might be hard for an old school Christian who has even raised the dead to agree with?
But they are the ones who especially MUST agree with that very thing if they want to make a clean break from their lifetime of defeat and mixture. They do NOT know God, have never seen him, and are actually in that group who will hear those terrifying words “Depart from me” <–well its preposterous to think that especially if you have seen alot of miracles.. Are you starting to see why The Bible says there will be MANY in that day?
Less than victorious results are NOT THE TRUTH they are merely FACTS that are a consequence of SIN. Everything that happens under the circumstances of sin bondage is a FACT but not the TRUTH of what Jesus purchased and is available NOW for all who will meet the qualifications Repent and OBEY.
I had to stop hanging out with this “good Christian friend” of mine because he just kept on trying to feed me lies and would not repent of his witchcraft. He didn’t mean to, he wanted to be a blessing, but his covenants were dictating his reality and he would not change them.
I finally had to completely stop hanging out and I even blocked his number because he got so offended that I would not admit that I was a sinner just like him and he would not stop calling and texting to tell me how proud I was! Can you imagine? Sin=Pride. If you are bound by sin YOU are the proud one not me! I am not a sinner, so goodbye! BLOCKED..
One day I was talking to a friend of mine and he was saying he was experiencing a lot of resistance lately everywhere he goes. I thought about my past experience [the facts] that I had definitely experienced a lot of resistance from the devil and I told him: “yeah that is normal, you ever heard that saying “new levels new devils” but as soon as it came out of my mouth I knew it was wrong. I said: “DO NOT AGREE with that resistance thing I said.”
Instead AGREE that it is a TOTAL HOLOCAUST on the devil wherever you go” New Levels New Angels “And I got it, thank God! In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one PERPETUAL VICTORY PARADE” [2Cor2:14MSG] So I caught myself on that one, but I have not always been so fortunate.
One day I was super high on Jesus. It felt like LIGHT was coming out of my face, behind my ears and inside I felt like a pure ball brilliant bright light. Ephesians 5:8 took on some new meaning. “For once you were darkness, but now YOU ARE LIGHT in the Lord. Live as children of light”
I was experiencing this most of the day and toward the early evening a new friend of mine sent me an email with some papers he had written about sanctification.
All of it was about the PROCESS of sanctification. There were multiple verses from Philippians and Ephesians talking about the unfinished process of “becoming holy”.
Based on the tenses and context they all showed that salvation is “in progress being outworked.” “Complete in eternity, but not yet complete in experience”.
I read all the verses and of course I agreed with them. They were in the Bible! As soon as I did, while I was still reading his papers, I came down several notches in the Glory. I literally felt the light leave and it all but stopped shining through me. It was very dramatic!
I was feeling pretty “COMPLETE” all day when I was agreeing that it was FINISHED but when I saw those Bible verses and I agreed that it was a “process not yet complete in experience – NOT Finished” I instantly sobered up! What in the world? That stuff is in the Bible RIGHT?!
Once again I had given my agreement to something other than the TRUTH of the Finished Works. I had given my agreement to facts.
They were infallible facts contained in the Holy Bible but they were still just facts and not the Truth of what Jesus purchased with HIS OWN BLOOD.
When I look back at my own experience, and the experience of ALL Christians, it is easy to see that manifesting the reality that we have IN Christ is a process, that is a fact, but I never want to give my agreement to that fact.
The “process” of you experiencing the magnitude of the victory is ONLY dependent on how long it takes you to Agree ONLY with God and OBEY. Everything but that is complete.
We have been “resurrected with Him and seated in heavenly places IN Christ.”
God has “delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (This is all past tense stuff)
Our sinful nature has been REMOVED and YOU HAVE BEEN MADE HOLY.
We now have a brand new PERFECT NATURE that we can choose to live from by agreeing ONLY with the TRUTH of what Jesus accomplished for us on the Cross.
It can be hard at first to discern facts from Truth especially when they are all jumbled together IN THE BIBLE.
The facts it contains are infallible, they really happened, but they are not the TRUTH and I do not give my AGREEMENT to something just because it is in the Bible.
This may be one of the hardest things for “seasoned Christians” to wrap their head around.
But the “proof is in the pudding” if you want to get into the presence of God and stay there, YOU HAVE TO GET THIS.
The fact that we have to guard our agreements even from some of the plain declarations of scripture seems heretical and almost anti-biblical, but bear with me.
This is particularly important when it comes to things in the Old Testament.
Here is a very simple example of FACTS FROM THE BIBLE used to deliver deadly lies to someone’s soul that will keep them bound by sin:
People read the story of King David, how he committed adultery and murder, and they say yes “a man after Gods own heart” David did all these bad things and still made it to heaven right? So they deduce from that, that they may also sleep around and murder and still be “ok”. It’s in the Bible afterall.
Now if you agree with this type of lie you are making a covenant with hell and hell will use it to gain entry to your life. You may not commit adultery or murder but you will find that agreeing with a compromising interpretation of Scripture like this will STOP you from walking in perfect freedom from sin now.
One time I was at work enjoying the atmosphere of heaven as usual when a man walked into the store with several bouquets of flowers. He had obviously had a stroke and he explained that he supported himself by selling these flowers. I thought that my wife would definitely enjoy some flowers so I bought some. As soon as I handed him the money he said: “Since you have blessed me, I want to bless you according to Genesis 12:3 God will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you”
And I immediately agreed with him. I even felt some goose bumps on it and felt like crying a little, it seemed powerful! I was like wow, you never know who you are talking to, that guy was like some kind of angel. Well It was not thirty min later THAT ALL HELL WAS BROKE LOOSE in the store I was managing!
Customers were manifesting demons; employees were manifesting demons; I had absolutely NO Authority. I was totally overwhelmed. I texted my wife and said PLEASE AGREE for heaven on this place! (and that actually did help alot] but I was still fighting back the tears and just barely holding on. I never quite recovered all day..
I thought about it the whole time and when I got home I messaged a friend and asked him if I should have agreed with that Genesis 12:3 “blessing”
He said “Nope that was some kinda sneak attack. Cursing those who curse you is the opposite of what Jesus said” AAHHhh of course!! We have to AGREE that God will BLESS those who curse us. “Yup that gives the devil major anxiety. He can’t do anything with that”
It could not have been any more dramatic. When I agreed that God would curse those who curse me, not only did I open up a door to hell, but the devil was quick to send ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE TO CURSE ME so that they would be cursed as a result! It was horrible.
[After a few experiences like that you might be tempted to agree that if you miss a step or accidentally make a covenant with hell, then “all hell will break loose” But I would NOT AGREE WITH THAT IF I WERE YOU 😀
That is NOT THE TRUTH. If you disobey you might notice some negative things, but DON’T AGREE WITH ANY DEMONIC CONSEQUENCES. Do not agree with this, just listen —> If you miss a step or agree with a lie, a door is cracked open in the spirit because of it and demons might start pouring in, DON’T JUST SIT THERE AND TAKE IT. REPENT! AGREE with the Truth and SLAM that door shut as soon as you notice.
You can recover from a missed step by doing the original thing God told you to do, [or if there is no possible way to do that, then do the next thing God tells you to do.] But if you agree with a lie there is nothing you can do but find that covenant and break it.
You are going to find that the Bible is FULL of FACTS that are not TRUE through the Cross.
The old testament saints and their experience is NOT what we should be giving our agreement to. “Oh king David was a man after God’s own heart and did all these bad things, so I can/will/might do the same things” ←–NOO
And along these same lines people are tempted to agree that the experience of the Apostles is the Truth. “O well Peter sinned and was openly rebuked by Paul so you think you are not going to sin” “Paul said he was the chief of sinners afterall” <—This is a religious objection to Truth. The experience of the apostles is not necessarily the Truth.
Jesus is the Truth and He NEVER sinned.
And by the way, you can find Paul ROUTINELY doing the OPPOSITE of what Jesus commanded us to do. Jesus said to bless those who curse you, but you can see when someone did Paul wrong he was asking God to “reward them according to their works!” That is the wrong agreement Paul, you need to ask that they will be rewarded according to JESUS WORKS, because anything else is a curse!
You have to understand this and be VERY CAREFUL! You must examine everything through the cross and think: “is this true through the cross?”
The “process” that I went through to enter into this experience of being free from sin and enjoying the reality of heaven on earth was really simple. First I agreed with what the Bible says about the sinful nature, that it has been crucified, circumcised, utterly destroyed, REMOVED, so that it doesn’t exist anymore AND I agreed that I am a brand new creation, having been made PERFECTLY HOLY and PERFECTLY RIGHTEOUS by the sacrifice of Christ.
THEN [and this was the hardest part] I threw out ALL of my experiences with the Lord based on 1 John 3: Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him OR KNOWN Him. So, my dear children, don’t let anyone divert you from the truth. It’s the person who [acts] right who [is] right, just as we see it lived out in our righteous Messiah. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.”
I did not like those verses very much, but I had too much fear of God to disregard His Word. This passage does not say anything about EXPERIENCE. The Bible says there will be “MANY” who have lots of experience and yet Jesus will say “depart from me I never KNEW you”. How do you know if you KNOW Him? You WILL NOT SIN.
So I had to admit that I did not yet KNOW Him and by doing that I effectively threw out ALL of my experience. Then I just had to decide to stop sinning, one sin at a time. Start with the sin you are planning on doing and just DON’T DO IT. Determine to hear from God what you are supposed to do in moment by moment awareness of Him and DO it.
You smash enough idols and you will find that you are in the constant abiding presence of God. Then once you are there “fight” to stay there, rejecting every ‘little’ lie and taking every little step he shows you. I am free from sin and you can be free from sin, anyone who agrees with God and chooses to obey can be free from sin. That is the Gospel. But I had to throw out all of my previous experience under sin and agree with the interpretation of scripture that does NOT make ANY allowances for sin. Then I had to be stop listening to and reading Christian stuff because 99.9% of the material out there is infected with some amount of compromise that would stop ANYONE from actually walking in freedom from sin (and it can be virtually impossible to catch at first)
If you do exactly what I did, you will find you can stop doing whatever God is not pleased with INSTANTLY and positively do every little thing you know he wants you to do. It may not be super fun or easy at first, but it is very simple and the result is always the same = HEAVEN RIGHT NOW.
Here is the TRUTH: You were a sinner before being born again. In fact your sinful nature was so evil that it COULD NOT do right, it was incapable of even one single righteous act. But because of what Jesus did on the Cross your old Nature was REMOVED SO THAT IT DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE and you were given a completely new nature which is the total opposite of the sinful nature so that it “CANNOT SIN”. It is INCAPABLE of even one unrighteous act. 1John 3.
When you agree ONLY with God about who you are [which is a SAINT, the opposite of a sinner] You will find that you can repent of any sin and NEVER do it again simply by choosing to. This is very good news because the ONLY thing that can stop you from experiencing Heaven NOW is sin and the ONLY thing that is keeping anyone bound to sin is agreements with LIES.
There is not one single in my life that is not submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and it is heaven. Jesus Christ has made every provision for us to live a life of heaven on earth, if you are not experiencing it, it is because YOU are rejecting Him and choosing to stay in control of your life.
More Examples…
Over a period of time I started to notice a close connection between missing a step (disobeying) and sickness. I started to find that when I obeyed Jesus and stayed in his presence sickness really could not get ahold of me. I might notice a small headache or a little sore throat, but it would never progress into anything more than that… UNLESS I missed a step, then the sore throat would move into my lungs and I would get sick. I noticed this over and over until one day I finally declared and agreed that sickness is a result of sin. I agreed that if I sin sickness has an entrance into my body that would not otherwise be there. It was a big mistake! The very next day a guy came into my store and all of the sudden started coughing uncontrollably. I had a very strong urge to rush over to him and command it to leave but I hesitated.
And in that 2-3 seconds of hesitation i felt like I had disobeyed, and I felt a punch on MY lungs, literally as if someone punched me in the chest and I instantly got a little cough. I thought it was very strange but I did not change my agreement, and this little cough quickly turned into a huge unstoppable cough and I became really sick for almost a month!! I was more sick and for longer than I can ever remember being in my life and it was because I had agreed with a lie that sickness is a result of sin. I do not agree that sickness is can have access to me AT ALL, EVER, FOR ANY REASON! Jesus Christ shed his blood to make us perfectly whole, spirit, soul and BODY. The Blood of Jesus is MORE than enough ALL THE TIME NO MATTER WHAT! And this is where my agreement stays. The Bible says that by his stripes we HAVE BEEN HEALED. We are in PERFECT unstoppable health RIGHT NOW. Everything that is contrary to this is a fact and must bow down to the truth. Your job is to keep your agreements in Truth to make room for that heavenly reality to manifest. I have been healed instantly several times just by declaring this truth and praising God for the fact that I have been made PERFECTLY WHOLE 2000 years ago. But many times more, I have seen the manifestation of that healing come on very slowly. As I keep my agreement anchored in the TRUTH of my PERFECT HEALTH by the BLOOD and REJECT every reason, or competing voice my body comes into alignment with that.
One of the most offensive parts of this entire doctrine in a practical sense is what it means for FRIENDSHIP. After I was set free from sin I found that i had to seperate myself from certain people from time to time. Most of my friends were on Facebook at the time and I would go through my friends list and ask Jesus who I should keep and who I should let go, because being in relationship with people is a form of covenant and shared reality. Especially in the early days, if God told me to tell someone the Truth and they rejected it, I would have to seperate myself from them. This sometimes means unfriending them on facebook, refusing to hang out with them, or simply seperating yourself from them “in the spirit” or in your agreements.
I recently had a very interesting experience along these lines, one which I will not soon forget. I am used to being in the presence of God all the time. It feels like a warm, heavy blanket of LOVE where there is perfect peace and perfect rest. If anything ever gets in the way of me being aware of His tangible presence I stop everything and find out what it is and take care of it.
Many times it has been a wrong agreement but there are both active and passive agreements. A passive agreement can occur when you stay friends with people who are agreeing with lies, or if you agree that someone who is not in real unity with you is your “friend”
For example. We had been hanging out with a certain family that we could tell was a divine connection. I could see we had a future with them and we generally enjoyed hanging out. But things were not quite right with their intents and purpose, there was alot of mixture.
Well one day I declared: “These people are our friends” and I immediately felt something demonic hit me. I thought it was strange but I did not make any connection. The presence of God waned over the whole day until the next day I really could not feel it at all. I could feel it around me, but it was like there was something standing in-between me and him casting a shadow on me and stopping me from feeling the warmth and brightness of it.
I knew it was an agreement of some sort, but I could not figure out what until I stopped everything asked the Lord. I thought about everything that had happened and that was the only thing that came to mind. So I changed my agreement back from “friend” to “acquaintance” and everything went back to normal almost instantly.
You have to make a distinction between those who are in agreement with you and those who are not. Real friendship is only found in the Kingdom and in unity with the LORDSHIP of Jesus Christ.
I have seen this over and over again in Facebook friendships. Very many times being in passive agreement with someone in something as seemingly inconsequential as a facebook account has opened the door to hell on me and it stays open until I unfriend a certain person. There is no formula for these things. You must go on a case by case basis whatever Jesus says. Sometimes I will go through my entire friends list person by person and ask Jesus about every single person, and I will hear “keep” or “let go”.. “yes” or “no”. When I first started to get high on God this lead to my biggest breakthrough. I got my friends down from 450 to like 65 people by systematically going through my friends list and when I was done I was really SUPER High and I stayed that way.
Recently I have been really super high ALL the time (practicing the presence) and I find it helpful to explain to people that staying in his presence IS the Righteousness OF GOD. His presence contains his RIGHTEOUSNESS as a practical reality for us to experience all the way down to the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Well very slowly I started to change my agreement and the anchor of my heart and I noticed the desire for certain things starting to creep back in, and that is scary to me because the Bible commands us not to even desire evil. I just could not figure out what it was, so I got together with a friend of mine and sought the Lord on it and I realized that I had changed my agreement from what the Bible says: “whoever DOES RIGHT IS RIGHTEOUS” to my helpful commentary “whoever is HIGH is righteous”<– this has Truth in it, but it is not what you give your agreement to. It is the DOER who will be BLESSED. When I changed the agreement back to what the Bible explicitly says and anchored my heart in OBEDIENCE the desires left immediately and I was back to normal.
Partial Preterist Eschatology – this one was VERY offensive to me, and I hope to have a whole section on it. I have found that the Truths which are most offensive to my mind (and experience) are the very Truths which, when submitted to, cause the most profound transformation. With this one in particular I noticed an immediate increase in heavenly atmosphere in and around my life to a degree that is hard to explain. It was like I always knew that we could manifest heaven NOW but when I agreed with the preterist view of the age (that the book of revelation was referring to events in 70AD and that the end of the old age and the beginning of the new age commenced with the destruction of the temple at that same time) WOW it was like some sort of lid was removed, I realized we really aren’t waiting on anything at all, not the seals, not a bunch of hellish stuff, NOTHING. It is NOT the end times, it is the transition times, when everyone realizes what Jesus has already done. If you want to hear more, check out Jonathan Welton’s Book called “Raptureless” It addresses some of the biggest points and will lead you to realize how the Church has been tricked into agreeing with the destruction of the earth, when no such thing has to happen. Which is good news because we can stop it at any time. This is a major part of the devils plan to usher in his world system.
The power is in the agreement, not the disagreement. I used to agree that God would continuously confront every wrong agreement in my life until they were all gone and that always did lead to some good things, but it also seemed to lead to some bad things. I usually ended up missing it and falling and then learning a lesson from it. <–definitely NOT my favorite way to learn!! Not totally from heaven either. But when I changed that slightly to agree instead that God would ecstatically confirm all my right agreements! It was much better. My wrong agreements were still confronted but in a positive way or affirming what was actually right, and these days I am still open to God gently confronting wrong agreements any way He chooses.
Look to the Cross! Look to the Cross! Look to the Cross! That is where every mistake and every bit of darkness was swallowed by VICTORY 😀
It’s all about the definition of GRACE. TRUE GRACE IS THE POWER TO OBEY GOD. To really step into this you have to throw out your agreement that it is an unmerited favor.
It is possible once in the presence of God, to try to maintain that through your own efforts. This is witchcraft. Only the Cross can keep you continually in his presence. Means your obedience while necessary is definitely NOT your doorway into his presence, the Cross is.
Jesus worked so that you could stay high. You are in heaven, you are breathing the atmosphere of Heaven, you are filled with him, he is in you. You are high already. Agree with that.
Shortly after this I was really super High and a friend started messaging me with facts about how we are not glorified yet. ALARM bells went off, I knew instantly something was trying to get me to agree with facts. I know of at least one verse that says we ARE already Glorified, “those he justified he glorified” Rom 8:30 Sounds like the Truth of what Jesus purchased with his own blood to me so I didn’t give my agreements to any “process of glorification” it is finished and I stayed super high.
Relationships are a passive form of Covenant. There have been MANY TIMES when cutting someone out of my life has made the difference between moving on and getting stuck. As soon as you cut fake people off the real ones will pop up. Even connections to people on facebook. I routinely go through my friends and ask Jesus about every single person. I will hear “keep” or “let go” “yes” or “no” on every person.

The Lord recently told me: You don’t have to sin anymore EVER, if you do it is because you are believing a lie about who I am or what I have done and you are choosing to sin.
Does the Blood of Jesus cleanse from all iniquity? How then can you believe the truth and continue to sin? Well that sounded like Great News to me!!
And The Bible clearly says that we do NOT have a sinful nature anymore.
It was “utterly destroyed” on the Cross.
Listen, I don’t understand the virgin birth, but I believe it… and I don’t know if I will ever understand how it is possible that My sinful nature was “put to death” over 2000 years ago with Jesus on the Cross but I believe it!
“You know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him.” But did you know that YOU are IN HIM? And Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is. (And you definitely do not understand that HE IS IN YOU)
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and HE CANNOT SIN, because he is born of God.” [1 John 3:5-9]
When Jesus said “Therefore be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48) He was talking about the Righteousness that is BY FAITH, that is the Righteousness OF GOD.
“For the temple of God is holy, which you are.” (1Cor3) And “as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct” (1Pet 1:15)
“By this we can distinguish God’s children and the Devil’s children: anyone who fails to act righteously is NOT a child of God, nor he who does not love his brother. This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.” [1 John 3:10-11] And did you know that obeying God IS loving people.
Listen, leaving sin is very easy once you agree, but let me tell you what is very far from easy: throwing out ALL those very sincere pastors who have been telling me that freedom from sin was impossible!
This is the most INTENSE PART of stepping into freedom, you have to SEE that 99% of truly sincere “Christians” are totally deceived and despite their best efforts are working for the devil.
How do we to seek ye first the Righteousness OF God?
The righteousness OF God is the Person of Jesus in you and His manifested presence on you.
If we are not experiencing God’s manifest presence ALL THE TIME then you have rejected Jesus and His Atonement in some way and you must repent. Repent until you are in His heavy peace, once you are in the presence make it your goal to stay there by rejecting every “little” lie and taking every step he tells you to.. As you abide in the presence of God you will find yourself in His REST, and it becomes even easier to OBEY.
I have noticed over and over again that if I believe a version of the Gospel that makes sin “ok” or in some way excuses it, even some “small” way, then I start to sin [which is a little bit of hell]
But if I simply reject that belief that sin is in ANY WAY excusable or allowable along with the belief that “I will always sin.”
AND I reject every interpretation of Scripture which reinforces that error; I find that I do not sin! And it is not even hard! It is easy to stop “doing the things I don’t want to do” and stay in his presence.
“My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But *if* anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense–Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.” [1 John 2:1]
The difference between the truth and the religious spirit can come down to changing a single word in a verse. Very Many people think and act like that *if* in 1 John is a **when** and they routinely quote it like that.
Why? Because they think they will always sin. But put your glasses on and look at that verse!!
It is important because If you agree with such a big lie like that then guess what? You have made a covenant with hell and you will always sin! BUT if you agree with what the Bible actually says and change that “when” back to an ***IF*** I believe you will see. Sinning is not a guaranteed thing! You do not have to do it. You can choose not to at any time!
It is critical to re-define Grace.
Grace is not “unmerited favor” that compels God to stay with you no matter what you do.
Grace is the POWER to OBEY God all the time in thought word and deed.
Faith = Obedience in thought word and deed.
Obedience IS Worship
Obedience IS Trust
Obedience IS HUMILITY
I had to repent (change my mind) until I was constantly in the presence of God. That is when you have HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS in a practical way! When you are staying in his presence you have HIS FAITH. Remember we do not have our own righteousness, we have HIS righteousness. When you are in his presence you are manifesting his PERFECT righteousness [when you have his righteousness as a practical reality, the battle against the demonic IS a feast and a perpetual victory parade]
